New Perceptions, Inc. Online Privacy Policy

Privacy Notice Table of Contents:

Our Commitment to Privacy

Your privacy is important to New Perceptions, Inc. To better protect your privacy we provide this notice explaining our online information practices and the choices you can make about the way your information is collected and used. To make this notice easy to find, we make it available on our homepage and at every point where personally identifiable information may be requested.

The Information We Collect

This notice applies to all information collected or submitted on the New Perceptions, Inc. website. On the "Donate Now" pages you are able to make a donation to our organization. On the designated "Events" page you are able to register for an event. In other pages, you may request additional information on programs or services or volunteer to work with us. The types of personal items collected on these pages are:

  • Name
  • Address
  • Email Address
  • Phone Number
  • Credit/Debit Card Information if applicable

The Way We Use Information

We use the information you provide about yourself when processing a donation, soliciting a donation, or registering you for an event. We do not share this information with outside parties except to the extent necessary to process the donation.

We use return email addresses to answer emails we receive or when notifying you of special events or other NPI news. Such addresses are not used for any other purpose and are not shared with outside parties.

Finally, we never use or share the personally identifiable information provided to us online in ways unrelated to the ones described above without also providing you an opportunity to opt out or otherwise prohibit such unrelated uses.

Our Commitment to Data Security

We use Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) technology to protect the security of your online transactions. We have agreements with VeriSign to ensure your security. SSL encrypts your order information to avoid the decoding of that information by anyone other than us. To check the security of your connection, look at the lower left-hand corner of your browser window after accessing the server. If you see an unbroken key or a closed lock (depending on your browser), SSL is active. You can also double-check by looking at the URL line of your browser: when accessing a secure server, the first characters of the site address will change from http to https.

Links to Other Websites

We provide links to other sites. We have no control over such sites and resources and as such are not responsible or liable for any content, advertising, products, or other materials on or available from such sites or resources. We shall not be liable, directly or indirectly, for any damage or loss caused or alleged to be caused by or in connection with use of or reliance on any such content, goods, or services available on or through any such site or resource.
